Health
Asylum seekers have the right to basic medical care, however the do not have free choice in terms of the doctor who treats them. Proposed treatments must first be requested and approved, except in the case of an emergency.
Recognised refugees and people granted temporary admission are obliged to take out health insurance with an insurance company, as do all residents in Switzerland. If necessary, they have the usual right to a reduction in health insurance premiums.
